Welcome
to Arts and Kids, an organization dedicated to bringing the
work of young artists to the public's attention. We are pleased
to invite all of your students to enter our annual Arts and
Kids Open Art Competition, which is currently underway. This
contest is open to all students 17 years of age and under,
and of course, entry is free.
Your
Students and Your School Will Have a Chance to Win $5,000
in Prizes!
This
year, 150 scholarships and prizes totaling $5,000 will be
awarded to students .
In addition, if one of your students is chosen as the Grand Prize Winner
in the competition, your school will be awarded a $500 grant
for art education, art supplies, or art-related technology!
But
that's not all. Simply by entering our contest, each of your
students will also be able to take advantage of all of the
following free services:
--Each
of your students will have his or her artwork published
on this website. Your students will be able to simply enter
their names and see their artwork displayed.
--A
dedicated link to all of your students' artwork (and your
name) will also appear on this site (coming soon). This
will allow you, your school faculty, your student's parents,
and the millions of monthly visitors to this site to quickly
and conveniently review all of your students' work with
one simple click of the mouse!
--Each
of your students will be able to send free e-greeting cards
featuring his or her artwork to anyone in the world with
an e-mail address.
--Each
of your students will be able to convert his or her own
artwork into a fun and engaging puzzle that he or she can
play online.
--Each
of your students will be able to view a multimedia gallery
featuring his or her very own artwork, along with works
that are submitted by other talented students from all over
the country.
--Each
of your students will receive an individual acknowledgement
of his or her artwork and will enjoy an equal chance of
winning the contest, since entrants are judged using age-appropriate
standards.
We

click here) to go to an individual student's page.
There you will see all of the things currently available free
to each of your students.
And
each of your students will also be considered for publication
in an internationally distributed, deluxe hardbound anthology
that will showcase the best works from today's emerging young
artists.
We
have been truly gratified by the overwhelming response to
this program. Over the past 10 years, we have awarded over
$100,000 to talented artists and schools, most of whom have
never before entered - or expected to win - any type of artistic
competition.
Equally
important, parents and teachers tell us that students love
the opportunity to see their own artwork appear on this website.
This international recognition gives students an instant boost
of self-confidence in their own abilities. In today's complicated
world, it's our pleasure to sponsor a wholesome activity for
children that is both educational and fun. I am confident
